Harvest Green is Growing StrongHarvest Green is growing strong with more and more buyers discovering our “farm-tastic” community. So many that we’re sowing the seeds for 326 more homes and even more amenities. Perry Homes and Westin Homes have already received 83 new homesites. Homes will be situated on large 60-foot properties. An additional 45 homesites will be delivered to Meritage Homes and Plantation Homes in August. Newmark Homes, Lennar and D. R. Horton are expected to receive 119 homesites by early September. Fun fact. Originally we were planning to grow 247 homes but so many people want to make the move to Harvest Green we decided to release 79 additional homesites that had originally been planned for 2020. More than 200 homes have been sold in Harvest Green this year — a 9 percent increase in sales — three times the nation’s average for growth. You know what that means? A lot of housewarming parties! We’ve also begun construction on some exciting new amenities. By December, we should have tennis and volleyball courses to play on and a new playground for the kids. In August, wine producer Messina Hof is set break ground on the Harvest Green Winery and Kitchen. The largest winery in Houston will include a tasting room, wine bar, open-kitchen restaurant that can seat 130 diners and a 2,600-square-foot covered patio for larger, private events. Can any other Houston master-planned community say they have their own farm and a winery? We don’t think so. That might be why we were named Master-planned Community of the Year by the Greater Houston Builder’s Association. Yep, we’re feeling pretty “up-beet” around here. Come out and “lettuce” show you how great life in Harvest Green can be. |
