End Summer on a Delicious Note Aug. 11The lazy days of summer are coming to a close, so why not end the season on a delicious note at Street Eats Saturday? Our fabulous food truck fest will take place on Aug. 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Since that’s the weekend before Fort Bend ISD students go back to school (Aug. 15 for those of you counting down), why not take a break from last minute back-to-school shopping and have lunch with us? Wylie Street Tacos will be serving up deliciously unique taco offerings, including tender brisket carne guisada and The Texican — a savory beef chorizo concoction that includes avocado, crispy fried plantains, mixed peppers and onion in a warm tortilla of your choosing. They’ve also got gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options so everyone can eat happy. If burgers are more your speed, why not sink your teeth into a delectable (yet healthy) turkey burger made fresh for you by Gobble-n-Go. In addition to their signature Classic Burger, they’ve added a Beyond Beef Vegetarian Burger. Kids’ can choose between a junior cheeseburger, turkey hot dog or grilled cheese sandwich. After dinner, explore our 11 beautiful model homesand say hello to our goats. Then line up in front of The Cool Bus for flavorful snow cones and ice cream. We’re looking forward to the watermelon snow cones, ourselves. That’s not all we have planned. You can eat to the beat of tracks laid down by our fabulous DJ and play lawn games. We also will have a bouncy house for kids to explore. It’s the perfect end to a perfect summer — or the perfect way to start the new school year, depending on how you look at it. Before you come, visit the ATM as not all food trucks accept credit cards. Let’s get this end-of-summer party started! |
