Make a Date with Santa

It’s Santa’s busy season, but he’s still making time to visit with his biggest fans. Harvest Green children will get some one-on-one time with the jolly elf himself at a special, residents-only Brunch with Santa, but there will be plenty of other opportunities to make a date with him. Just catch him at one of his favorite Yuletide hangouts:

Santa returns to George Ranch Historical Park for tree house story time, Tuesday through Saturday at 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. In addition, the entire family travel through Christmas pasts as we explore the customs and decorations from 1830s to the 1930s!

Santa will hold court at First Colony Mall, and you can reserve time with him! Book a phot op so you can skip the line and have the elf to yourself. Make a reservation by Dec. 9, and save $5 off your photo package.

The holidays will be celebrated with a variety of activities throughout the month, but two dates stand out for us because Santa will be in the house! On Dec. 17 from 12-4 p.m., you can get your camera and snap a #ElfieSelfie with Old St. Nick. On Dec. 23, children can enjoy Cookies with Santa. Unleash your inner elf and create cookies for Santa from noon-2 p.m. and then enjoy a meet-and-greet with the man in red from noon to 4 p.m.

Santa is bringing the missus to Sugar Land Town Square for the annual tree-lighting ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 7. Stop by from 5-8 p.m. for holiday crafts and activities, face painting, performances by local artists and choirs, photos with Santa and food and beverages available for purchase.

Santa will be sticking around for photos on Sundays, Dec. 10 and 17, from 1-5 p.m. A donation box will be available to collect new and unwrapped stuffed animals for Fort Bend Rainbow Room’s Christmas Project.

And while Santa will be out feeding the reindeer on Dec. 14, we encourage you to stop on by because our very own Travis High School Orchestra will take the stage from 6:30-8:30 p.m. to play your favorite holiday tunes!

The fourth annual Sugar Land Holiday Lights returns with more than 100 walkthrough displays and 2.5 million lights throughout the ballpark. This year will also feature a number of exciting additions, including a carnival outside the ballpark, new theme nights and more. Santa Claus will also be available each night through Dec. 23, along with a variety of food trucks and children’s activities.

Santa loves four-legged creatures, too, so bring your pets (and the kids) out to meet him at the Paw-liday Market benefitting Houston Humane Society. The afternoon also includes live music, pet friendly shopping, and HHS mobile adoption on-site. A donation is suggested to help the organization, such as a Kong toy or Yesterday’s New brand litter.
