Harvest Green Ranks No. 8 on Most Active List

With home sales starting just over a year ago, Harvest Green is already earning accolades, recently being named No. 8 on a list of the Houston area’s most active communities. 

Published recently by the Houston Business Journal, the list ranks 25 communities based on annual new home starts for the 12-month period ending in September. Harvest Green builders have started 270 homes during that timeframe, launching presales in the community last summer.

Harvest Green was one of six projects of Johnson Development Corp. to be included in the tally. Others were Riverstone, No. 1; Sienna Plantation, No. 2; Woodforest, No. 4; Cross Creek Ranch, No. 6; and Harmony, No. 11. Johnson Development had more listed communities than any other developer.

Eleven well-known builders offer homes priced from the $240,000s in Harvest Green, Houston’s first farm-centric development. An on-site lifestyle director plans a host of activities, many of which revolve around the community’s Village Farm.
